Consider the health problems when applying the false nails - ACRYLIC NAIL POLISH

Consider the health problems when applying the false nails
There are different types of false nails or acrylic nails available in the beauty industry. They include plastic, fiber, silk and gel nails, with different usage methods. Most of people only know they can make their hands beautiful, but never know that they may result in some diseases.
The most common disease that occurs due to the usage of acrylic nails is false nails. It occurs because of three reasons. First, long term usage of nail paints and false nails. Second, improper fitting of false nails. Third, the UV light in the nail salon. Another problem that sometimes occurs is deformation of natural nails, and faulty and damaged growth. Nail thickness, discoloring, and even in some cases spots on nails. Dermatitis, skin inflammation, may also occur rarely. Now,let we know how serious to under the UV light in the nail salon.
UV nail lamps are usually used to 'cure' artificial gel nails but can also be used to cure acrylic nails and sometimes dry traditional nail polish. According to Caroline Cerny, campaign manager for Cancer Research UK's Sunsmart campaign, "exposure to UV light is a major risk factor for the development of skin cancer" - but she acknowledged that it was too early to point the finger at Design False Nail salon lamps, based on just two cases of skin cancer. Given that skin cancer is an extremely common cancer, with 8900 people in the UK being diagnosed with a deadly melanoma each year, it does pay to be cautious, even though a widespread panic about using nails salon lamps would be a bit premature without further research.
Women who visit beauty salons to have their nails done could be increasing their risk of skin cancer, according to a new report. The high doses of UVA rays are suspected of being able to potentially cause skin cell damage, after two women in America were diagnosed with skin cancer on their hands following regular nail salon treatments.
A 48-year-old woman in good health needed repeated surgery to remove several cancers from her right hand after having UV light treatment at nail salons eight times in one year. A second woman, aged 55, also developed a tumour on her right hand after using UV lamps twice a month for 15 years. Although they can be removed with surgery, in around four per cent of cases the cancer spreads to other parts of the body. In both cases, the tumour involved was a squamous cell carcinoma, a less harmful strain than deadly malignant melanoma.
The media will be following this story in coming months, so whether the risk is actually worth worrying about or is in fact negligible, remains to be seen. It's highly unlikely that the millions of women who enjoy having their nails done will panic about two isolated cases.
So, keep away from the UV light no matter use <a href=http://www.topons.com/nail-care-c569.html〉DIY false nails at home or apply them in the salon. And choose the false nails which do not block the entry of oxygen and drinking water to the nails, but makes it impossible for the nails to obtain benefit from clean oxygen and water. Or let your nails have a rest and recover by obtaining benefit from clean oxygen and water for about one week before applying the false nails once again.

Nail art today is all the rage everywhere, and is the must-do for all kinds of places - schools and colleges, offices, weddings, parties, or just for at an outing with friends.
Modern nail art is believed to have its origin in Japan. Nail artists known all over the world, like Eriko Kurosaki, Junco Ogava and Michiko Matshushita, are Japanese. In ancient India, nail art in the form of designs with henna were very popular. Some Indian tribes were also very famous for their unique nail decorations.

Simple nail art can be made at one's home. There are several nail art studios that have come up all over the world, which one can visit for more elaborate and professional designs.
Commonly, nail art is understood to be painting the nails. However, in fact, nail art encompasses a wide range of alternatives, as under:
1) Painting on the nails:
Traditionally, painting the nails referred to a simple coat of nail polish. However, today, there is a large variety of designs that can be painted on the nails of a person. These designs can range from flowery and geometrical ones to highly creative, funky ones.
The process of painting the nails is an elaborate one, and gives the best results when performed by a skilled nail artist. First of all, the nails are cleaned and the dead skin and cuticles around the nails are removed. Thereafter, a base coat of paint is applied on them, usually of white colour, so as to ensure that the design shows up prettily. In some cases, if a natural look is desired, no base coat is applied. A coat of activation polish is applied on top of this, which ensures that the design dries quickly. Finally, the required design is painted on the nail. Bright colours like silver, gold, red, blue, green, and black are preferred over lighter colours.
Digital nail painting is the latest innovation in the area of nail art. It has made it possible for any kind of picture that the client wishes to be reproduced exactly on the nails. Under this process, the design is scanned into a computer. After the activation coat is applied on the nails, the client is required to put his or her hands into the machine, the design gets printed on the client's nails in the exact reproduction of the original.
The application of a clear coat of varnish over the design ensures that it lasts for a considerable period of time.
2) Applying embellishments:
Some people have been known to decorate their nails using different kinds of embellishments. These decorations can be anything from glitter, beads, feathers, stones or flowers, and are glued on the surface of the nail. Precious or semi-precious embellishments can be made use of.
Tiny stickers are also available, which can be creatively utilized to make an attractive design on one's nails.
Nail art can also be a combination of paint and various kinds of decorations. Paint and stickers, paint and glitter, and paint and stones are some of the most popular combinations.
3) Piercing:
Nail piercing is another form of nail art that is very popular in today's times. It refers to the act of piercing the nail, in a fashion similar to the piercing of any other body part, and wearing a piece of jewellery in it.
Usually, small rings and other miniscule pieces of jewellery are preferred for use in a nail piercing. Wearing ghungroos is a popular fad in India in today's times.
4) Acrylic nails:
Using acrylic nails is a perfect way of making one's nails appear longer and more beautiful. Artificial nails made of acrylic material are stuck on the natural nails of a person, giving it a longer appearance. These nails can be smoothened and given a brush of polish, which makes it look extremely natural.
Acrylic nails hide the flaws of the natural nails of the wearer. Even if a person has chipped nails, the fact can be hidden by using acrylic nails. Modern acrylic nails are quite safe and convenient for use in day-to-day life.
To nail it down
There is no doubt about the fact that the preference and incidence of nail art is growing by leaps and bounds, in all across the globe. In spite of the rising popularity of nail art as a form of artistic expression, it still remains the women's prerogative. It has not become as popular with men. Nail art has not remained restricted only to hip teenagers and college goers, but is being increasingly preferred by middle-aged women as well. Working women prefer nail art in sober colours and designs.
Before getting nail art done, it is necessary to choose a reputed nail art studio and nail artist to ensure that the process is completely hygienic and safe. It is also necessary to check whether all the paints, embellishments and jewellery used are in compliance with the health and safety standards laid down in the area in which the studio is located. If these few simple precautions are religiously followed, there is no reason why you cannot have your nails looking all glamorous and fashionable, and play safe and healthy too!

Dotted Hearts for Valentine's Day Nails

Anther Valentine's Day design. There is really so many possibilities for Valentine's Day. I tend to use the colors most associated with the day, such as different reds, pinks and whites. But a variety of other colors works too. Designs like this just scream Valentine's Day to me because the colors and hearts together remind me of the day. I started by painting my tips, as shown in the above and below pictures. I did opposites. I painted my thumb, middle and pinkie fingers on my left hand with white tips and did red tips for the pointer and ring fingers. On the right hand, I did the opposite, so my thumb, middle and pinkie are red tips and my pointer and ring fingers are white tips.
The White I used was- China Glaze- White Out
The Red Polish I used was- China Glaze- Bing Cherry
The picture above is my left hand, I am a righty, so I did my left first and it usually comes out better. I drew on hearts using a dotting tool. I drew red hearts on the white tips and white hearts on the red tips. I used the same colors I used for the tips.

Then I used my dotting tool and made four little dots with the same red polish curving away from the heart, as shown in the picture below.
I did the same with the white polish, and added dots to every heart.

Here is a closer shot of my left hand, showing both the red tip and white tips.

The picture above shows the total design and the picture below is my right hand. Not as clean or as good. I am still practicing to get better with my left hand but matches enough.

Hope you Like these nails! I think they are very simple, elegant, and pretty. They are for more than Valentine's Day but perfect for it too. Thanks for reading and feel free to comment or try this design yourself!

How To Apply Artificial Acrylic Nails - Acrylic Nail Polish

Beautiful nails are a desired enhancement to feminine beauty, but many ladies may have trouble attaining them.
If nature did not bless you with wonderfully strong, healthy nails, you can still enjoy the glamorous look that long and painted nails can give you. All you have to do is apply strong and durable acrylic nails over your own nails.
You can find a service for acrylic nail application at nail salons. It is an expensive option. It is not as expensive for you to apply the acrylic nails yourself. By following instructions and with practice, you can apply your acrylic nails with the same care and great results that you can get from a nail professional.

As for supplies, you will need non-acetone nail polish remover, artificial nail tips, liquid acrylic, powdered acrylic and nail oil. Your equipment needs to include a nail brush, nail files, nail filing block, acrylic nipper, small acrylic brush and a working dish for the acrylic liquid. Choose acrylic nail tips that are the same size as your own nails or you will have to file the nails down.
Give your nails a manicure. Smooth rough edges and remove dead skin. Use a non-acetone nail polish remover to remove nail polish and acrylic. Use the filing block to roughen your nail surfaces. Cut the nails to the skin portion. Do not injure yourself. You want to prevent your nail from being broken if the acrylic nail tip is broken.

Line up your acrylic nail tips so that you can reach them easily when you are ready to put a drop of glue on the tip. The glue drop should reach from the bottom of the nail to the indentation where your nail's edge will fit in. You can remove a crooked acrylic nail by immediately soaking it in water.
Use the acrylic nippers or a large nail clipper to trim the tips to your desired length. Use the nail file to remove any rough edges and to even out the lengths of your nail tips. Use the liquid acrylic in a well-ventilated area. You will paint the liquid acrylic on to your nails so that the beds will be smooth without any bumps where the edge of the acrylic nail tips rests on your nail.
You will be dipping the acrylic brush into the liquid acrylic and then into the acrylic powder that will create a ball of thickened acrylic on your brush. Paint the acrylic onto your nail so that you can create a smooth finish for your acrylic nail tips.
Have the acrylic powder container open. Prepare the acrylic brush by dipping the brush into the liquid acrylic and then wiping it on a paper towel to remove excess liquid. Then lightly dip half of the brush into the liquid acrylic and then remove the excess by wiping against the inside of the liquid acrylic bottle.
You are ready to dip the brush tip into the acrylic powder. When you do, you will create a ball of thickened acrylic. It should be damp instead of wet. Paint this thickened acrylic where the acrylic nail tip is on your nail. Work quickly to spread the acrylic onto your nail surface without flattening the acrylic. Wipe the brush on the paper towel to remove any excess acrylic.
Continue working until you have built up the surface to resemble the curve of your own nail bed. Apply a bit at the tip of the nail to create a natural look as necessary. Avoid getting acrylic on your cuticles because mould or fungus could grow under the nail at that spot.
It will take about ten minutes for your nails to dry and set. You can safely use a grit nail file on the sides of the dried and set nails and close to the cuticle bed to shape your nails. Use the filing block to smooth your nails. Remove any acrylic filings and dust by washing with soapy water and using a brush. The exposure to the harsh chemicals requires that you moisturise your nails with nail oil. As your nails grow out, you will need to paint more acrylic on to your nails every two weeks.
